The Chief Justice Hon. Martha Koome presided over the swearing-in ceremony of Members to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) selection panel, on Monday 27 January, 2025. This comes after a decision made by the High Court on Friday 24 January, 2025, which lifted the earlier stay orders barring their appointment. The nine Members; Kiome Lindah Gakii, Oloo Adams, James Evans Misati, Nicodemus Kipchirchir Bore, Koki Muli Grignon, Carolene Kituku, Tanui Andrew Kipkoech, Nelson Makanda and Fatuma Saman will be responsible for the recruitment of nominees for the positions of Chairperson and members of IEBC.
